1. Acceptance

By installing or using Grit, you agree to these terms. If you don't, don't use the app.

2. Your account

You can use Grit fully offline without an account. To use Social, Buddy Sync, or cloud backup you must create an account. You must be at least 17 years old to use the social features. You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity on your account.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the workouts, photos, captions, and comments you create. By posting content to the social feed, you grant Grit a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and transmit that content to other Grit users for the purpose of operating the social feature.

You promise that the content you submit doesn't infringe anyone else's rights and complies with the rules below.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Grit to:

We review reports within 24 hours and remove violating content. Repeat or severe violations result in account termination.

5. Reporting and blocking

You can report any post, comment, or user from inside the app (tap the menu on a post or buddy card → Report or Block). Blocked users disappear from your feed and buddy list permanently.

6. Health disclaimer

Grit is a fitness logging tool, not a medical device. The form tips, rest-timer recommendations, progressive-overload suggestions, and AI Trainer outputs are general guidance, not medical advice. Consult a qualified physician before starting any new exercise program, especially if you have an existing medical condition. Stop and seek medical help if you experience pain, dizziness, or any other concerning symptom during exercise.

7. App Store EULA

Your use of Grit is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which controls in case of conflict with these terms with respect to App Store usage.

8. Termination

You can delete your account anytime in Settings → Account → Delete Account. We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or applicable law. On termination, your data is removed per the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Grit is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data syncing will always succeed. Use the app at your own risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to these terms or your use of Grit is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) €50.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; the updated version takes effect on its effective date. We'll surface material changes in-app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
